Finances
Accounts for the end of the calendar year will be distributed shortly.
The accounts will be externally examined as the turnover in the financial year didn’t exceed £25,000 by Brett Beardsley of Darby’s.
Mansfield Town F.C. Board meeting January 2010
Colin to lead on information he has already received and what we are seeking to gain from the first meeting
Colin has not received an agenda for the next Directors’ meeting. He has asked for any questions to be put to the board to be given to him urgently.
Review of last month since meeting
Will has spoken to Stuart Rickersey about a possible advertising board at Field Mill to mark our investment of £55,000. The club has quoted a full price for the purchase of a year’s slot and were not prepared to offer a discount when Will last spoke to the commercial department. Will spoke at length to Stewart Rickersey on December 23rd who agreed to consider points made.

Paul to update on where we are
The site is nearly completed and will be launched on the 15th January. Paul has put a huge amount of work into and it should be significantly easier to upload information to. Paul and Will have started a Twitter stream to communicate with members as well
Sportman's dinner
Gary to talk through
Gary talked everyone through the arrangements which are more concrete now. Colin Dobell has agreed to sponsor a table in his absence due to a diary clash. It was agreed that we would suggest that this was a Legends table to host 6 players with 4 competition ticket winners (to be held on 103.2 and in the CHAD.
Prizes for the raffle will need to organised.
The sponsors’ wall is an absolute priority as we have only got a couple of companies agreed and this should be a significant fundraiser. It was agreed that all board members would seek to gain more sponsors for the logo idea at £25 a go.
